Our fall garden chores through the lens of Jason Thompson

December 12, 2023

I love seeing photographer Jason Thompson's perspective on our fall garden chores in these images, which he shot on spec for Patagonia. If you're looking for a photographer, I highly recommend JT.

Over the last 15 years, he and I have worked together on stories about skiing and farming, as well as creating imagery for my husband's metal shop, Stronghold Fabrication.

What I seek in a photography partner:

📷  Delivers excellent images that resonate with the target audience.

🌄  Tells the right story with nuance and clarity.

      💫  Captures the magic light.

      ✔  Reliable, creative and flexible.

Jason brings all this, plus a new lens to my ideas and questions. His is an inquiring mind, always seeking a different angle and depth. He's also an awesome human — easygoing, funny and kind.

p.s. Eloise is not looking at a phone in that photo where she's sitting on the shed windowsill. It's the root from a radish that went to seed. Did she trick you?
