Stuart Fuke has the ingredients for teamwork in the kitchen.

To me, leadership is supporting others to see their own potential, so they can contribute in ways they never knew were possible.

You can read about one such leader, Stuart Fuke, in my latest for Big Sky Resort.

Fuke mixes the Hawaiian culture of his youth and his military training to create family in the banquet kitchen. His is a moving story of incredible sacrifice—he’s been awarded a Purple Heart—and of finding friendship and home in unlikely places.

Shelby Thorlacius, one of my editors on this project, twice told me it made her tear up.
