Conversations for Change at Bozeman Public Library

March 24, 2026

A monthly space to think differently

Maybe you need to make a decision, you're planning an important conversation, or you just want to look at something from a new angle.

Often, we're stuck thinking through these situations alone or we wind up talking in circles.

I host a free monthly gathering at the Bozeman Public Library for people who want to work through things differently.

Conversations for Change is a structured space to explore practical tools for leadership and collaboration, in real time, with other people.

Most of the decisions that shape our work and communities happen in conversations like these. Here, we do it with intention.

How it works

Each session centers a theme drawn from patterns in how we live and work. Past themes have included:

- setting expectations

- giving effective feedback

- working at your best

- trusting intuition

- navigating change

Working as a group and in breakouts, we often use Clean Questions, a set of simple, precise questions that can help you notice how you’re making sense of things, where you might be stuck, and what new options are available.

There’s no pressure to perform, fix or share anything you don’t want to.

Participants often say they leave with something clearer than when they arrived — a decision, a next step or a new perspective.

Who it's for

This is for people who are leading, building, changing or figuring out what’s next — and who want to be more deliberate in how they think and relate.

Some people come every month, while others come just once or dip in and out.

Attendees regularly include leaders, facilitators, coaches and other members of the community.

What participants say:

"I was able to look at the world through her eyes."
"It let me hold space for the other person."
"I was able to go very deep very quickly."
