Look out what you ask for. You just might get it.

Earlier this year, I told my husband that I wanted to be able to do Clean Language facilitation in Spanish. Like someday I dreamed I'd be good enough at both to do them — maybe in 10 years or so.

So, I started taking lessons online with a fabulous instructor, Oriana Acuña, (whose father just so happens to be a group facilitator and leadership coach in Mexico City). My tenses and vocab are rusty, but things are generally going well and I absolutely LOVE it.

Now I'm getting ready for an upcoming client workshop on Clean Feedback, and I've recently learned that one of the participants speaks only Spanish. Some of this person's colleagues can help translate, AND I want to be as inclusive as I can. This thing of understanding each other can be hard to do even when we both speak the same language. We often still misunderstand what others mean, even just about a single word.

So today, after working with colleagues in Clean to prep (mega thanks to Caitlin Walker (PhD), Jennifer Moore, Blake Cason, MS, PCC, Erin Randall, Sarah Baca, Pascal Clarkson and Cathy Hasty), I got on the line with Oriana. I explained the idea of Clean Feedback to her as best as I could in Spanish. Here are our translations so far.
